Have you ever wondered where our shop name comes from? We've been asked a number of times where we got our shop name and what it means. It's pretty simple. The shop is owned by Christina Sun, but originally started as a collaboration between her and her dad. He had an entrepreneurial mind and she had a dream. Sunchild's name is a dedication from Christina to her dad who encouraged her to follow her dream of inspiring others to love their style.

We wanted a shop name that had personal significance and Sunchild felt right. We set up shop in the Summer of 2012 with our motto 'treat our customers as our friends', worked really hard and never looked back. #GIRLBOSS
